Patty McWilliams, M.A., C.Ht. ~Artist~Owner~Instructor
Patty McWilliams is a Graduate of Governors State University’s Fine Art Department. During her work on her Graduate Thesis Exhibition; faces, McWilliams created a series consisting of 16 large canvas paintings of expressive portraiture. Reflecting her desire to connect with the human experience coupled with her love of art.
In her undergraduate work Patty studied Psychology and Fine Art concentrating in sculpture. McWilliams also developed a now popular drawing technique on wood grain, depicting her figurative work, which she continues to create and exhibit. Patty does a great deal of commission work both in drawing, painting, bead work, and graphic design.
In concert with her interest in the health, spirit, and the human experience,
Patty completed a 2 year Shamanic apprenticeship program and advanced trainings though the Journey of the Soul: Shamanic Studies Program. This program follows in the lineage of Sandra Ingerman.
Along with her continued practice in Hatha and Kundalini Yoga since 2001. These practices continue to inspire Patty's art-work and teaching.
As a certified hypnotherapist Patty offers both private and group sessions in Intuitive Painting and Creativity coaching using several relaxation techniques for opening to the creative process.
Patty combines the freedom of Art and her holistic health training to assist her in creating experiences for adults and children to embrace their divine creativity and to help in releasing what holds them back from realizing true health through a creative life. Currently Patty is continuing her studies in Creativity Coaching focusing on stress relief and
realizing a healthy lifestyle through creative processes.
Patty has worked for for many years in this capacity, with cancer patients and seniors through area hospitals and cancer comfort care provider
In addition to private and semi-private instruction, Patty offers group instruction and workshops in areas such as Shamanic Studies, Prayer Beading, Intuitive Painting and Art in Nature. In recent years Patty has created a Chakra Workshop, based on her practice in Kundalini Yoga, combined with visual art.
Patty continues to study and create in all areas of artistic expression.
As a member of the Downtown Frankfort business district, Patty offers these group workshops as well as continuing her private and semi-private teaching
venues.
Donna
M. Callaghan , B.A.,
CHT,
Donna is a Transformational Coach, Shamanic Teacher/Practitioner, Certified Hypnotherapist
and Workshop Presenter. Offering
individual personal growth services and workshops for adults and couples as well as
providing shamanic services and trainings. Donna sees clients out of her office in the South
Suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, as well as Kaya Day Spa in Chicago, IL and
Insight Awareness Center in Homewood, IL.
David Cowan, RN, HNC, CNMT, CLT
is a National Board Certified
Holistic Nurse, St.John Certified Neuromuscular Therapist and Certified
Lymphedema Therapist through the Klose Training Group. A former Home
Health and Hospice Nurse, David now specializes in the hands-on
healing for chronic pain. He is the creator of the first integrated
hospital-based massage therapy program in the state of Indiana, first
opening the doors to The Center for Neuromuscular Pain Management in
1999. He is now in private practice in multiple locations along the
beautiful Southern shores of Lake Michigan.
David is proud to be in his 12th year as a student of Qigong Master
Hao-Hee Chan and is connected through his Qigong Lineage to Grandmaster
He-Ming Pang and Guo Lin, (the originator of all modern popular qigongs
in China.) David has been certified to teach Chi-lel Qigong Level I and
Level II for the past ten years. David has also received instruction
from a number of diverse lineages which include Zen, Tibetan Buddhism,
Christian Mysticism, Sufism, Bioenergetics, Transpersonal Psychology,
Transcendental Meditation, Guided Imagery, Lomi-Lomi, Tuina, Kiatsu,
Trager©, Therapeutic Touch, Healing Touch and the Laying-on of Hands.
David has presented classes and workshops on qigong, meditation,
stress reduction, and relaxation training on regional and national
levels since 1999. He is a popular presenter and lecturer on alternative
health and has created of two hospital-based training programs: Caring
Touch™ and Caring for the Caregiver™. His Self-care courses have been
accredited by both the National Qigong Association and the American
Holistic Nurses Association. David is also a favorite guest lecturer for
Purdue University School of Nursing's course on Alternative Therapies
and a community healthcare advocate. He has presented for specialized
support groups ranging from issues of Stroke, Cancer, Fibromyalgia,
Multiple Sclerosis, Chronic Fatigue, and Geriatric Health concerns.
David is well known for his relaxed teaching style and his ready use of
humor, as well as for providing marathon chair-massage sessions
(sometimes lasting in excess of 10 hours!) at community health fairs whe
re he has on more than one occasion treated more than 70 people in a
single day.
Holly Dominick, B.A. ~Youth Art Education
Holly is a graduate of the Arts and Science department with a teaching sequence, from Illinois State University. With a minor in both Art History and Photography. Holly spent some time studying abroad in Florence Italy during her art studies in the summer of 2006.
Holly currently teaches in the Joliet public school system, grades 3rd, 4th and 5th grades.Also substitute teaching for Homewood Dist. 153 and Flossmoor Dist. 161.
Holly is a member of the National Art Education Association, and the Illinois Art Education Association.
Holly currently resides in Frankfort.
Patricia Fares-O'Malley, Ph.D.,C.Ht.
Pat is a psychologist who has
worked with hypnosis for over 20 years. Her field of expertise is using
the power of the mind to create a life of peace, joy, prosperity and
well being.
She teaches meditation and is a stress management
specialist. She is the author of several books, including Healing The Love Wound and is the creator of the internationally acclaimed meditation series of audio CD's entitled The Power Within. She has a private hypnosis practice in the South Suburbs.
Kalyani Jaya
In 2002, Kalyani met her Beloved Guru, ,
with whom she received mantra initiation and her spiritual name
"Kalyani"-She who is Auspicious, and began the practice of Nada Yoga,
the yoga of sound, and became more and more passionate on her path of
Bhakti Yoga and Tantric Shaktism.
In 2006, she received her Kali Natha Yoga Teaching certification at Kashi Ashram in Sabastion Florida under ,
Spiritual Teacher, AIDS Activist and Karma Yogini, who bestowed upon
her the beautiful name "Kali Ma"-- Mother who removes all Darkness
In 2008, Kalyani met and received Asterian Astrology Readings with and
began to dive deeper into the teachings of impermance and working with
the shadow self. As Jade said, "It is not your light that reincarnates,
its your dark. If you do not become conscious of your shadow self, you
will reincarnate until you do."
In 2010, Kalyani received her Vinyasa Yoga Teaching certification with Yogini and Spiritual Activist
In
2011, she reunited for the first time since 1999, with Shree Maa and
Swamiji once again, which renewed an even greater passion and commitment
to her spiritual path.
Kalyani
looks forward to learning, growing and deepening her personal practice
and devotion to Divine Mother and continuing her dedication to
sharing this love with others.
Anthony McGrath

In 2008 she completed “All The Way In”, a master class with Internationally recognized Master of Improvisation, Rhiannon.
Regina Sargent, R.N. ~Children's Meditation Leader
Regina Sargent is a mother, grandmother, teacher, and
nurse of 30 years. She prides herself in being a
resource of encouragement in the
development of beginning skills for adult learners and children. Regina has seen first hand how Using
creativity and imagination can change the direction of one’s life.
She is excited to share and teach the skills for mediation
needed with you and your family.
Currently there is increasing research on the rewards of children
developing meditation skills and
how this may support
children with ADHD and Autism. This Program stimulates
imagination, while focusing on listening
skills and following instructions. It allows children to create their own calm.
Her

Gina Marie Slager, CHt.
Certified Yoga Teacher and Breath Coach
Gina was trained and certified in Kundalini Yoga at the Temple of Kriya Yoga and Spirit Rising Yoga
of Chicago.
She has been teaching her own very unique Yoga for over 10 years to
Women, Men, Senior's, Teens, and children of all ages.
Gina specializes in working with pregnant and post-natal women and their newborns. Gina offers meditation, breath work and self-hypnosis techniques to enhance the birthing and post-natal experiences of her clients.
She also works with new dad's and accompanying family members in this sacred family transition.
Gina offers a specialized program for teens with anxieties of every level, and a focus group for teen girls approaching and beginning menstruation.
Gina is gifted in assisting with enhancing confidence and inner strength within her students and helping them to focus on
those qualities and gifts to enhance their life.
Gina is a musical performer for children, as she sings and plays guitar and the hand drum while teaching the positive concepts of yoga.
She wrote, recorded and released a Children's Musical CD entitled
The Blue Alligator in 2008.
Gina is a resident of Frankfort and the honored mother of three children Benjamin(14),
Henry (6) and Fiona(3).
Andrea Verbeek, B.A., M.A.Ed. ~Youth Art Education
Andrea is a certified teacher of Elementary Education and Master Studio Artist.
Andrea Verbeek graduated from Southern Illinois University
with a Bachelor degree in Studio arts in 1998, and completed a Master’s degree
in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University in the spring of
2010. As a ceramics major in
college, she belonged to NCECA National Council on Education for Ceramic Arts,
and enjoyed the additional creative and educational benefits of the group. While working on her masters she became
a member of Kappa Delta Pi, the International Honors Society in Education, and
graduated with a 4.0 GPA.
Becoming an art teacher combines the two most important
things- the love of art and the importance of a well rounded education. Identifying with the creative student,
Andrea enjoys teaching techniques and skills, while reveling in the creative
process of the students. Having the opportunity to teach in a rich artistic
environment, which facilitates this process, is something she feels quite
fortunate about.
Besides teaching kids art classes at Monkey Mind Art Studio~Andrea is currently an at home Mom, with a 4 year old son and 5 month old daughter.
